About Us
Started by Tim Shelton in his garage in Cedar Springs, MI in 2004, the idea for Cup’n It UP cup holders came from a simple need. Tim was working as a bus transit operator in Grand Rapids, MI. He realized that bus drivers had no place to safely set down their drink anywhere on the bus. Utilizing his engineering background, Tim developed a prototype cup holder that was mobile. He continued to make modifications as he put it to everyday use. He also made the cup holder available to his fellow drivers and listened to their suggestions. Over the course of several years, Tim has continued to make improvements to the Cup’n It UP cup holders. This is the product that we sell today.
Testimonials
“I can’t believe something this simple yet something this masterful hadn’t been thought of a long time ago. I love my drink holder as I take it with me everywhere I go. A lot of people ask me about it, and I tell them, it’s the best thing since sliced bread! No, seriously it has been a life saver for me in my occupation to be able to take my holder with me as I work on the move. It holds firmly on the side of my toolbox and never let's go.“
“The best thing that I like about Mr. Shelton’s drink holder is that it is mobile. That is, you can take it with you and attach it to any window in your vehicle. And the suction cups hold firmly."

“This device has been my companion on two trips up and down the East Coast. It is strong, holds in place, and it's like I've been given an extra set of hands. Once I secure my seat on the bus, I slap the Cup'n It Up drink holder on the window right beside me and forget about it until I need my water bottle.”
"When I was in Mansfield, Ohio for work, I saw a fellow driver that had one of these Cup'n It UP drink holders on their window. Not ever seeing anything quite like it, I asked about it. She told me that a fellow operator makes them. I looked up the company, and said, 'I’ve got to get one.' Once I figured out how to make the beverages fit in the holder, I’ve been sold ever since, as it is golden.
