- How much does it hold? Your drink holder will accommodate up to a 44 oz. drink and will hold weights up to 14 lbs.
- Can it be used for other items? Yes, we have had people hang their handbag or a trash bag from it, Customers also place books in it or hook their umbrella or cane onto it. It’s like having a third hand when you need it !
- Where can I use my Cup'n It UP drink holder? Any place that you have a non-porous surface to stick it onto. It has been used on boats, golf carts, buses, trains, tool cabinets, dorm rooms, shower rooms, bath rooms, kitchen windows for plants - the possibilities are endless.
- What does it stick to? Any non-porous surface. We recommend affixing our suction cups to dry, clean, smooth, non-porous surfaces like glass, mirrors, glossy plastic, glazed ceramic tiles, etc.
- Is temperature a factor when applying the holder? The suction cups are design to hold in extreme temperatures ranging from -20°F (-29°C) to 120°F (49°C), but should initially be applied in temperatures above 40°F (4°C).
- Do I lick it to stick it? It is best NEVER to lick your suction cups. They are designed to have greater holding power when the surfaces of the suction cups and the surface to which you are applying it are clean and dry. Always press the cup all the way down using the center button of the suction cup against the surface. Pressing against the cage to adhere it to its surface may, in time, damage the holder. To enhance suction, a tiny dab of Vaseline or cooking oil may be rubbed on the rim of the cup. The suction cup may need to be “burped” periodically by pressing down on it to remove any air that may have seeped in.
- Can it be used for smaller drinks? Yes, simply press on the front of your holder to shape it to a smaller size and it will trap your drink tightly. Using a foam "koozie" will help stabilize your smaller drinks in the holder and help to prevent condensation from dripping. It can then be easily pulled out again to accommodate those larger drinks.
- What is my Cup’n It UP holder made out of? It is produced from sturdy aluminum weighing approximately 3 oz.
- Does it come with a warranty? Yes. If for any reason the suction cups fail to meet your expectations, please contact us and the suction cups will be replaced at no charge. Shipping your cup holder to us will be at your expense. We do not replace bent or broken cages. Also, if, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your Cup'n It UP holder, you may return your undamaged holder within 15 days to us for a full refund, minus shipping and handling.
- How well will it work in my car or mini-van? If used on a window which goes up and down, caution should be used to make sure it has been taken off before the window is moved. Using it in a mini-van on the stationary window on the sliding door, the cup holder will clear the outside wall of the vehicle and remain in place during the course of opening and closing the sliding door.
- What colors does it come in? Cup'n It UP holders come in standard RUBY RED, ROYAL BLUE, GUNMETAL GREY, BASIC BLACK, GARDEN GREEN, and CLASSIC CHROME (currently unavailable). Do you want to show your school spirit or support your favorite sports team? We also offer some custom color requests! Custom color options include PRETTY 'N PINK, SUNSHINE YELLOW and PERFECT PURPLE. Please note, these will incur an additional cost of $5 per holder and additional production time, depending on the requested color. When ordering custom colors, be sure to provide the quantity requested, color(s) and any additional notes within the notes field during checkout.
